Thank you for being here! My name is Meaghan & the first thing that you should know about me is that I absolutely love what I do.
I was born & raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia (but if you ask me for directions, I will still need to pull it up on Google Maps). I am a lover of the east coast, seasonal trips to PEI, my fiancé ( yes, this planner is also currently planning her own wedding! ) laughing more than I should & a good cocktail.
I have an extensive background in food & beverage, hotel management, & large-scale event planning. However, the wedding industry has officially held my heart since 2017. When I entered the industry, it immediately didn’t feel like ‘work’. The passion, drive, excitement & investment was instantly effortless & natural to me. I knew I found what I was meant to do. You could say, taking care of others is my profound love language.
Over the last few years, I was the general manager & wedding coordinator to a local event space. In a short time, I transformed it into being a multi award-winning, full service, highly sought after wedding venue in Nova Scotia. I have personally worked closely with 200+ couples, so you can count on me to work both with you & for you. Previously being a wedding venue coordinator has given me such an advantage & thorough understanding of what your venue & vendors need & in turn — I know exactly what you need.
My approach? Working together doesn’t begin as a checklist or a business transaction & I never want it to feel like one. In this process, you are gaining a partner who is fully invested in you. It’s an honor to work with my clients on their wedding day & your overall experience is something I personally see through until the end. You can expect me to care too much, treat you like a close friend & over deliver leading up to & on your special day. It’s a priority to not only provide a seamless & effortless planning process, but a cherished & memorable day for you & all of your loved ones.

This is for the lovers who feel confident & comfortable planning their wedding, but would still value expert guidance in finalizing key elements & being fully present on their big day. Starting three months out, I’ll ensure every detail is brought together flawlessly.

You’ve starting the process, but now what? This is for the lovers who can get themselves started, but time approaches too quickly to see it all through alone. Starting six months out before your date, I’ll pick up where you left off & handle the rest.
